CFL Foundations

Olympic Lifting

If you haven’t done CrossFit at an affiliate before, completed a foundations/on ramp course or done CrossFit longer than 3 months you will be required to complete the CFL Foundations course. This requirement is for YOUR safety!

The course consists of 3 x 1 hour classes to teach you the basics of CrossFit in 3 areas, Gymnastics, Olympic Lifting & the Workout (WOD). These classes are also open to our CrossFit Unlimited members who can attend them to brush up on skills they may be lacking in or if they have had time off training and need to ease back into it.

Foundation Classes are on each week:

Tuesday 7pm: Gymnastics

Thursday 7pm: Olympic Lifting

Saturday 6am: Workout – find out how we run our classes, objective of each element in the class, orientation of the gym. You’ll also get a bloody good workout!

Once each of these classes are completed (3 in total) you will have access to the daily CrossFit classes, however if the Head Coach finds you need more classes you will be required to complete the course again. You can complete these classes within 1 week, or you have upto 3 weeks (21 days) to complete.
